During this activity we will visit the basilica of our lady of Altagracia, located in the city of Higüey. It is the most visited religious monument in the Caribbean area and the most important in the country.
We will also visit a public school, which will allow us to learn about the functioning of the dominican educational system.

We will then continue to visit a rural area where you’ll be able to see and learn about the work that is done in the sugar, coffee, cocoa, and tobacco plantations, as well as in the process of making Mamajuana, the typical dominican drink.

The tour goes on with one stop at a typical ranch, where we will enjoy a horseback ride through the countryside, and then have a varied and typical dominican lunch.

At the end of our tour, we will visit one of the most spectacular and unknown beaches for tourists in the Dominican Republic: Macao beach. A unique and unspoilt space where you can relax and enjoy its waters before returning to your hotel.
